Are you a driven and experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Come and join the engineering team, specialising in the design of electrical power systems for load banks and power supplies. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands-on design capability and experience producing high-quality electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical power systems for load banks and power supply equipment
- Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical
- Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, cable sizing, and protection selection
- Support the full design lifecycle from concept through manufacture and testing
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers
- Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, bills of materials, and design records
Experience Required
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience designing electrical power systems, ideally for load banks, power supplies, or similar equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical
- Strong understanding of low-voltage and/or high-power electrical systems
