This role is for a Design Engineer supporting the development of motorcycle bodywork and seating components, contributing to the design and refinement of high-quality parts within a collaborative engineering environment. The position combines on-site involvement with flexibility, requiring attendance on-site two days per week, with scope for adjustment for the right individual.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of motorcycle bodywork and seat components
- Produce and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using Creo
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
- Contribute to design reviews, prototyping, and product validation activities
- Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly plastics
- Ensure designs meet performance, durability, and aesthetic requirements
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer within automotive or motorcycle sectors
- Strong proficiency in Creo, ideally at an advanced level
- Experience with plastics design for interior and/or exterior components
