The Projects Engineer is responsible for the technical delivery of drives and control systems supplied to the energy sector. This role manages projects from order handover through design, manufacture, testing, site installation, and commissioning, ensuring solutions meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and external partners to deliver reliable, high-quality control and automation systems for critical energy applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver controls, automation, and variable speed drive (VSD/VFD) projects for energy sector customers
- Configure, program, and integrate drives, protection systems, and auxiliary control equipment
- Coordinate panel design, factory build, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
- Interface with customers, utilities, EPCs, and site teams during installation and commissioning
- Manage suppliers and system integrators to ensure quality, compliance, and schedule adherence
Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related discipline
- Experience delivering projects involving drives and controls within the energy sector
- Understanding of control systems, motor control, protection, and electrical interfaces
- Experience reading and producing electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
