Role Definition * Responsible for the control of all production to achieve customer requirements. To achieve this by efficient management and expedition of all purchased and manufactured parts, as well as solely controlling the flow of work required to meet the delivery of a products to cost and schedule – using Kinetic. Day to Day Duties * Raise / convert Production orders to achieve customers’ requirements / MPS / stock levels. * Working closely with the sales team and other departments providing lead times. * Manage outstanding production orders. Ensuring Production orders are completed on time in full as per the required by due date. * Plan production and produce production plans and work to lists. * Adjust production plans as needed based on demand fluctuations, equipment availability, or unforeseen challenges. * Identify capacity issues in advance and recommend solutions e.g. overtime/ sub-contracting to line Manager. * Agree recovery plan with Line Manager and execute. * Communicate production requirements to the production team. * Monitor all outstanding production orders and ensure they are completed by the planned date. * Maintain master Bill of Operations data. * Ensure all Production orders are completed correctly and closed off. Qualifications * GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English * MS Office Skills Excel and Word Essential Skills * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. * Proven experience as a Production Planner / Supply Chain Planner. * Experience of using ERP / MRP systems. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. * Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and Word in particular). * Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. * Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
