Network & Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Networking / Cyber Security Engineer for one of the fastest growing Engineering Consultancies who support some of the UK\’s biggest projects in the Energy & Utilities sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading in the design, configuration and development of a wide range of network infrastructure projects.
2. Lead project workstreams.
3. Deploy and configure virtual machine servers.
4. Upgrade and configure site SCADA Systems and/or AVEVA System platform.
5. Hardware replacements including firewalls, switches, and servers.

Requirements:

1. Demonstrate a track record of expertise in Networking, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
2. Ideally, knowledge of Energy or Utilities sectors.
3. Cyber security knowledge and experience.
4. Hands-on experience with AVEVA and/or SCADA Systems.
5. Strong understanding of network architectures including IP addressing, VLAN usage, and virtualization technology.
