We are seeking experienced LV (Low Voltage) Commissioning Engineers to support projects on the AWE Burghfield site. This is a highly secure environment, requiring DV Clearance, where you will play a key role in the commissioning and validation of electrical systems on critical infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out commissioning activities on LV electrical systems in line with project specifications
- Perform functional testing, fault finding, and validation of installed systems
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and commissioning documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site safety standards and procedures
- Produce commissioning reports and documentation to a high standard
- Liaise with project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and clients on-site
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning phases
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an LV Commissioning Engineer
- Current DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance – essential
- Previous experience working on AWE sites (Burghfield/Aldermaston) – highly desirable
- Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, panels, and distribution
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Experience working within highly regulated or secure environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
