We are seeking experienced LV (Low Voltage) Commissioning Engineers to support projects on the AWE Burghfield site. This is a highly secure environment, requiring DV Clearance, where you will play a key role in the commissioning and validation of electrical systems on critical infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out commissioning activities on LV electrical systems in line with project specifications
  • Perform functional testing, fault finding, and validation of installed systems
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and commissioning documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site safety standards and procedures
  • Produce commissioning reports and documentation to a high standard
  • Liaise with project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and clients on-site
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning phases

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an LV Commissioning Engineer
  • Current DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance – essential
  • Previous experience working on AWE sites (Burghfield/Aldermaston) – highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, panels, and distribution
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Experience working within highly regulated or secure environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
