This is a key role within a high-performing delivery team, offering real responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging, business-critical systems.
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of automation projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal engineering teams, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Job Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end delivery of PLC, RTU and SCADA integration projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams (software, hardware, commissioning)
- Manage client relationships and lead project communications
- Control project scope, change management, and commercial performance
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and final handover activities
- Provide clear project reporting to senior management
- Proven experience managing PLC, RTU and/or SCADA projects
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification
- Experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or process industries
- Knowledge of common platforms (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, GE, Wonderware)
