A senior leadership role responsible for developing, leading and embedding the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental strategy across the business. This position has a strong quality-led focus, ensuring robust systems, compliance, and continuous improvement are at the core of all operations, while maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the company’s QHSE strategy, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Drive a quality-first culture, ensuring products and processes meet stringent industry and customer standards
- Maintain and improve ISO management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
- Act as the senior point of contact for all QHSE matters across manufacturing, projects and site activities
- Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to the QHSE team
- Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders on quality and HSE performance
- Support operational teams in embedding best practice and driving behavioural safety
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior QHSE or Head of Quality / HSE role within engineering, manufacturing or power/energy sectors
- Strong background in quality management systems and continuous improvement (lean, Six Sigma desirable)
- Working knowledge of high-risk environments (e.g. HV, manufacturing, site-based works)
- Demonstrable leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, ISO Lead Auditor, engineering or technical degree preferred)
