My client is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join its growing team. This role has been created to strengthen the business's estimating and quotations function.
- The successful candidate will initially split their time between conducting site surveys and office-based estimating activities before transitioning into a more office-focused position as they become established within the role. Full training and support will be provided.

- Estimating & Quotations
- Conduct site surveys and gather technical information required for quotations.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for maintenance, remedial, and small works projects.
- Review customer requirements and specifications.
- Assist with tender submissions and pricing activities.
- Ensure quotations are issued promptly following site visits.
- Service & Maintenance Support
- Assist in scheduling maintenance activities and service visits.
- Support the coordination of remedial works and project delivery.
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, surveys, and customer communications.
- Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Electrical industry experience with a sound understanding of electrical systems and installations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to interpret technical information and prepare accurate quotations.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Desirable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Previous experience in an estimating, quotations, technical sales, service coordination, or back-office engineering role.
- Experience working with CRM, estimating, or service management software.
