Electrical Testing Engineer

My client is recruiting for an experienced Test Engineer to join their Operations team in an established business in Leeds. My client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of ultimate low loss amorphous transformer technology. Key Responsibilities * Testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site. * In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels * Testing of LV cabinets and control devices * Complete protection modifications Skills, knowledge & experience * Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company * Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential. * Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential * The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential * Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility * Have good written and verbal communication skills * Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel * Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment * Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach * Good communication skills * Flexibility to assist in other departments when required
