About this position: We are working with a leading automation solutions provider who are seeking experienced Electrical Installation Technicians to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based within a large distribution centre, focusing on the installation of conveyors, production lines, and associated automated equipment. Job Responsibilities: * Install and wire electrical systems for conveyors, sortation equipment, and production line machinery * Work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout schematics to complete installations accurately * Cable pulling, containment, glanding, and terminating of control and power cables * Assist with the integration of control panels, sensors, and safety devices into automated systems * Carry out testing, inspection, and commissioning support as installations are completed * Adhere to site safety procedures and industry standards throughout all work Experience Required: * Proven experience in electrical installation within distribution centres, warehouses, or automated production environments * Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and automated handling equipment * Skilled in cable installation, containment, and termination works * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics * Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) * Strong health & safety awareness in an industrial installation setting
