EC&I Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated EC&I Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation systems across a range of high-integrity industrial projects.\\n\\nWorking across the full project lifecycle — from concept design to commissioning — you will ensure that all systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.\\n\\nThe role:\\n\\n * Design and specify EC&I systems for industrial and process environments.\\n\\n * Develop and implement PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.\\n\\n * Select and integrate instrumentation for measurement, control, and safety.\\n\\n * Conduct site surveys, FAT/SAT testing, and provide commissioning support.\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g. BS7671, IEC, ATEX).\\n\\n * Work closely with project managers, clients, and cross-functional engineering teams.\\n\\n * Contribute to risk assessments, HAZOPs, and design reviews.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation or related field.\\n\\n * Proven experience in EC&I design and implementation in industrial sectors such as energy, utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, or process industries.\\n\\n * Proficient in Electrical Design (Solidworks, EPLan, Autocad)\\n\\n * Knowledge of electrical & instrumentation and machine safety standards and safety systems.\\n\\n * Strong understanding of system integration, field instrumentation, and control philosophy
