Are you an experienced and passionate PLC Commissioning Engineer with a background in automated machinery within the Automotive Industry? We are recruiting for a skilled engineer to join the commissioning team on-site at Ford’s Dagenham plant. This role is focused on supporting the delivery of key automation upgrades and installations, with a strong emphasis on adherence to Ford FAST Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting PLC (Siemens) software on automated production lines.
- Working directly within the Ford Dagenham automotive plant, supporting the launch of automation systems.
- Ensuring all software and commissioning work aligns with Ford’s FAST Standards.
- Collaborating with on-site teams to deliver smooth integration and ramp-up of production equipment.
- Supporting electrical and controls debugging during the commissioning phase.
Experience Required
- Previous experience working within the Automotive industry or Industrial Automation sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Siemens S7-300/S7/400.
- Proven experience in commissioning PLC software in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
