The role of Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer sits within the Launch Quality Centre, supporting new model programmes by assessing manufacturing feasibility and influencing design decisions to meet production, quality, and assembly targets. This contract position involves close cross-functional working to identify feasibility concerns, improve manufacturability, and support successful vehicle launch activity within an automotive engineering environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess manufacturing feasibility of new model designs and support design changes to meet assembly, quality, and production targets.
  • Review component design, dimensional data, and build activities to identify issues, support problem resolution, and develop assembly strategies.
  • Support virtual builds, feasibility reviews, KPI reporting, and wider cross-functional activities linked to programme delivery and best practice improvement.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing or engineering environment, with strong knowledge of component design, assembly processes, and manufacturing principles.
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools, ideally CATIA V5, with the ability to assess new model designs in a manufacturing context.
  • HNC, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, with German language skills considered advantageous.
