A dynamic engineering company is seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer, they are at the intersection of high-performance technology and creative innovation from optimizing power generation systems to enabling awe-inspiring motion control in live entertainment. Our rotary equipment solutions power critical systems across the globe. This role involves designing, programming, and commissioning systems that control high-torque, high-speed rotary devices — including motors, generators, and motion platforms. You will collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver robust, high-precision control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement control systems for rotary equipment using PLCs, SCADA, and custom software/hardware integration.
  • Develop and tune control algorithms for speed, position, and torque control.
  • Model and simulate dynamic systems to ensure performance and safety.
  • Program and commission systems on-site, including factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both industrial and entertainment environments.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including specifications, schematics, and user manuals.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in automation, drives, and motion control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience in control system design, preferably with rotary equipment.
  • Proficiency in control platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or similar.
  • Experience in both industrial (energy/oil & gas/power) and/or entertainment (stage machinery, theme park rides) applications is a strong plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel for commissioning and support when required.
