We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Control Systems Engineer for one of the fastest growing Engineering Consultancies who support some of the UK's biggest projects in the Energy & Utilities sectors.

Your role will be to design, programme and test control systems on various industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop then test PLCs & HMI plus SCADA packages
  • Site commissioning
  • Fault find & troubleshoot control system issues
  • Work across teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in PLC programming (Rockwell, Allen Bradley and/or Siemens)
  • Knowledge of electrical design
  • Technical writing experience plus development of technical documentation and control systems
  • Proven track record of expertise in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Modbus)
  • Be familiar with industry regulations and standards in the energy and utilities industries
