Are you an experienced Appointed Person ready to take charge of lifting operations on a busy, fast-paced site? We are recruiting for a key role on a 6–9 month project in Gravesend, where you will be responsible for planning and managing lifts in line with safety standards and site requirements. This is a contract role with an immediate start available. Engagement is via LTD Company or Umbrella PAYE only – NO CIS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and manage all lifting operations in line with LOLER and BS7121.
- Produce lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate closely with Crane Supervisors, site teams, and external contractors.
- Ensure all lifting operations are executed safely, efficiently, and compliantly.
- Provide ongoing technical support and oversight across all lift activities.
Experience Required:
- CPCS Appointed Person or Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
