An opportunity has arisen for an office-based Accounts Assistant to join a small family business in Herne Bay on a part time permanent basis..
The position would suit someone with previous accounts experience, working on Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll, who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:-
- Raise Sales Invoices and email to customers throughout the month
- Process Supplier Invoices
- Accurately processing transactions and banking customer/supplier payments.
- Resolve customer enquiries efficiently
- Liaise with Office Manager to resolve any queries
- Record bank payments
- Assist with weekly and monthly accounting, invoices, and statements
- Monthly calls to customers seeking payments that are due
- Provide support and assistance to Office Manager
- Sage or equivalent preferable
- Excel experience desirable
