If you’re confident on the phone, commercially aware, and like solving problems for people, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, professional environment.
This is a mix of sales, service, and client advisory work — looking after an existing book of business while helping with new enquiries.
What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be the first point of contact for your clients, making sure their insurance needs are handled properly throughout the year. Day to day, you will:
- Manage renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and new business enquiries
- Review client needs and advise on the right commercial insurance products
- Produce high‑quality broking submissions and negotiate with insurers
- Prepare clear documentation and ensure clients understand their cover
- Build effective relationships with insurers, partners, and internal teams
- Support colleagues with technical queries when needed
- Work closely with Claims and Broking teams to deliver excellent service
- Stay up to date with industry, insurer and product developments
- Meet personal KPIs and contribute to wider team targets
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
This is a front‑line advisory role, so you’ll play a key part in retention, service quality, and the overall client experience.
What We’re Looking For:- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Professional, proactive, and genuinely customer‑focused
- Able to build strong, positive working relationships
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to write clear, professional reports
- Working towards Cert CII - or willing to start, we’ll happily pay for it.
- Solid understanding of commercial insurance products
- Previous broking experience is an advantage but not essential
You’ll manage your own book of business, support new enquiries, and act as a trusted adviser to clients across a wide range of industries. You’ll also work closely with talented Broking, Claims and Support teams who help you deliver an exceptional customer experience. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and developing your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
