Qualifications

  • The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team
  • A high standard of food knowledge and skill
  • Up-to-date knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, and legal requirements
  • A willingness to develop personally and help propel the brigade forward

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
  • Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests
  • Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
  • Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies
  • Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean, and hygienic condition at all times
  • Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance
  • Lead the team to achieve company targets
