We're a small batch of handpicked locals – your home for British hospitality. Regardless of the occasion, we’re here to serve great-tasting food and drink, with our guests at the heart of everything we do. The Metropolitan was formerly a grand Victorian railway hotel. Now, the historic building is enjoying a new life as a delightful bar and restaurant, serving a range of classic British dishes covering everything from hearty breakfasts and Sunday lunches to sumptuously sweet desserts. Our bar is brimming with a selection of cask and craft ales, fine wines, spirits, cocktails and much more, providing the perfect accompaniment for an evening out or refreshing day drinks in our sunny beer garden. Full of style and character, The Metropolitan is the perfect British pub, whatever the occasion for our guests, bringing freshly prepared and locally sourced food to West Didsbury.
