A little bit about the opportunity…
If you’re a confident General Manager who genuinely cares about people — about delicious, comforting food, warm welcomes, and being a true part of a local community — then The Farmhouse might just be the perfect place for you.
Tucked away in the lovely village of New Waltham, just south of Grimsby and Cleethorpes, The Farmhouse is a traditional, heritage pub full of character. It’s a one-floor operation, with charming original features like exposed beams and a beautiful garden space that’s perfect for lazy summer afternoons.
We serve hearty, well-loved dishes from our Heritage menu, and we’re already a central part of village life — with regular quiz nights, live entertainment, and loyal locals who see us as their home from home. But there’s still so much potential to grow, connect, and offer even more to the 8,000-strong community around us.
We’re looking for a hands-on, passionate General Manager who takes real pride in what they do. Someone who wants to lead by example, look after their team like family, and bring joy to every guest that walks through the door.
You’ll be someone who:
- Cares deeply about quality and consistency
- Loves building strong, genuine relationships with guests and the team
- Wants to raise the standard in every area, from the kitchen pass to the garden gate
- Believes a great pub is the heart of a great community
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear your story. The Farmhouse isn’t just a pub — it’s a place to belong, to grow, and to make a real difference.
Please Note: To be eligible to apply, you MUST hold a valid Personal Licence.
