Job Description

The Property Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a portfolio of developments in and around the Surrey area. Responsible for all management aspects of all developments within the portfolio. Carry out development inspections as necessary to ensure the Company’s responsibilities are met. Proactively communicate with customers regarding our management of their development, ensuring communication strategies are achieved and reviewed on a regular basis. Effectively manage the relationship with the customer, including responding to queries, building positive relationships with stakeholders, reporting to clients regularly regarding management of development, and attending meetings with customers and clients as required. Work with customer‑formed groups such as RA’s, RMC’s, RTM, etc. Ensure customer complaints are resolved effectively and in a timely manner. Liaise with our Accounts department to ensure accurate financial management of the development. Source, appoint and manage competent trade persons to undertake works across the portfolio. Ensure all works undertaken by contractors are of suitable quality and cost‑effective. Ensure all Health & Safety and Industry legislation is adhered to.

Qualifications And Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the residential property management sector.
  • Ideally ATPI qualified.
  • Good knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2023 and requirements for HRBs.
  • Proven track record in customer services with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience of contract management.
  • Client‑focused, organised, self‑motivated, with ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, whilst having the ability to keep perspective and make informed decisions.
