Coldstream Lifecare & Village is a 58-bed Rest Home and Hospital with an 11-unit Village, located in the town of Ashburton. About Our Role: Coldstream Lifecare & Village, located in Beautiful Ashburton. Casual (as and when required not on a regular basis) AM, PM, Nights and weekend shifts. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Caregiver with a passion for caring for others, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive compassionate attitude, the ability to make others smile, and be great at working with people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
- Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing).
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
