Grade 6 Compensation & Contract £30,609 - £33,826 per annum (£33,699 - £37,280 FTE). Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year. Contract type: Permanent.

The role
Previous experience required as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead or Safeguarding Officer. Responsibilities include liaising with social services, CAMHS and other external agencies, managing referrals, and working with students and families referred by pastoral staff.
The person
We seek a confident and sensitive individual who can effectively manage behaviour and has strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding requirements. Ideal candidates will have experience working with SEND students and should be DSL trained within the last two years. They must be able to provide support to students and families and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
