Heritage Healthcare York is seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Care Manager to lead our established domiciliary care service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to step into CQC registration and shape the future growth of a high-quality, person-centred care service — backed by the strength and support of a respected national brand. The Role

  • Acting as CQC Registered Manager (or working towards registration with full support)
  • Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards
  • Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated care team
  • Managing day-to-day branch operations and maintaining full regulatory compliance
  • Building strong relationships with clients, families and local professionals
  • Supporting business growth by developing care packages and local partnerships
  • Participating in the on-call rota, including some weekends

About You

You will be a confident and organised care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality care.

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Solid background in domiciliary or social care
  • Experience in a senior, coordinator or management role
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Flexibility to support on-call duties

Desirable:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Not essential – full funding and support provided)
