The Role
As a Personal Carer no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting a range of individuals with different needs, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Companionship – spending quality time with clients, building trust, reducing loneliness, and becoming a friendly, familiar face
- Personal Care – assisting with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always promoting dignity and respect
- Daily Living Support – preparing meals, prompting medication, and helping with light household duties to keep homes safe and comfortable
- Mobility Support – assisting clients to move safely and confidently, encouraging independence wherever possible
