Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide personalised support that promotes independence and enhances quality of life. Duties include:

  • Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy eating.
  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
  • Supporting daily routines and encouraging independence.
  • Assisting with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home.
  • Administering medication in line with care plans and company policies.
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the wider care team.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
  • Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent, person‑centred support.
  • Following all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

About the Role

Based in Brotton, you will support an individual with learning disabilities in their own home. We are recruiting two part‑time Care Assistants to join an established and supportive care team. Regular part‑time hours are available across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with the opportunity to work additional hours if desired. Full training and ongoing support is provided.
