Heritage Healthcare Northampton is looking for an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead and grow our domiciliary care service across Northampton and surrounding areas. Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

We are seeking a confident and commercially aware Registered Manager who can lead from the front, maintain high compliance standards, develop a strong care team and help drive the next stage of branch growth. This role would suit an experienced Registered Manager within domiciliary care or a similar setting. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a manager who wants to build, improve, and develop a successful home care service with long‑term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the domiciliary care service.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and statutory standards.
  • Maintain high-quality, person‑centred care delivery.
  • Lead, support, and develop the office and field‑based care teams.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits, spot checks, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Manage care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
  • Monitor branch performance, staffing levels, and operational KPIs.
Requirements & Essential Skills
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care (essential).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of CQC compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of operational KPIs.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
