Role Title: Bistro Assistant – Oriam

Grade and Salary: Grade 3, Β£24,456 per annum

FTE and working pattern: Full-time (35hrs per week – rota based shift pattern) Open-ended

Purpose of Role

The Bistro Assistant will deliver service excellence to squads and facility users.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Bistro Assistant will provide excellent counter service
  • The Bistro Assistant will help support squad delivery
  • The Bistro Assistant will maintain Bistro facility cleaning at all times
  • The Bistro Assistant will work to upsell Bistro items

Person Specification

Essential

  1. Demonstrable ability to speak and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions and deal with customer/student queries
  2. Well-developed interpersonal skills
  3. Demonstrable excellent customer service
  4. Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a pressured environment
  5. Demonstrable professional and proactive approach
  6. Attention to detail

Desirable

  1. Experience of working within a similar catering and/or cleaning environment
  2. Experience of operating relevant catering and/or cleaning equipment
