Key Responsibilities- Review, draft, and negotiate a range of consultancy, appointment, and commercial agreements
- Support procurement processes across live architectural projects
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms, risk allocation, and delivery considerations
- Manage professional indemnity insurance processes, including renewals and claims support
- Maintain and improve contract management systems and documentation standards
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, including professional standards and data protection
- Support on intellectual property matters relating to design work
- Assist with dispute resolution and coordination with external advisers where required
- Work closely with project teams to ensure contracts align with delivery timelines and commercial objectives
- Liaise with brokers, insurers, and external counsel on specialist matters
- Qualified solicitor, paralegal, or equivalent legal or commercial experience
- 2+ years’ experience in a legal, contracts, or procurement-focused role
- Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts within a professional services, construction, or built environment context
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and explain contractual terms clearly
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across different functions
- Commercially aware, with a practical and solutions-focused approach
- Familiarity with construction or consultancy appointments
- Exposure to professional indemnity insurance processes
- Understanding of data protection or intellectual property considerations
- Work with a practice recognised for delivering some of the most thoughtfully designed projects in its sector
- Exposure to a varied portfolio spanning private, commercial, and heritage developments
