Senior Legal Counsel β Technology (Day Rate / FTC)
London (Hybrid β 1β2 days per week)
Immediate start | Initial 4-month contract
A large, well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel (Technology) to support a period of ongoing digital and operational development.
This role sits within a senior legal team and will involve advising across a range of technology, commercial and regulatory matters, with particular exposure to areas such as data, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic legal support on key initiatives, while remaining hands-on with commercial contracts (including SaaS, cloud and supplier agreements).
Key areas of focus:
- Advising on technology-related legal matters, including data and digital risk
- Supporting broader transformation and system implementation projects
- Drafting and negotiating commercial and supplier contracts
- Managing legal risk and liaising with external counsel where required
About you:
- Qualified lawyer (~5+ PQE) with strong commercial / technology experience
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean team
- Experience working with business stakeholders on practical, solutions-focused advice
- Exposure to data protection / technology environments beneficial
