A leading global telecommunications and digital infrastructure business operating within the B2B space is seeking to expand its legal team. With a strong international presence and a well-established legal function comprising a diverse group of legal, privacy, ESG, and operations professionals, the organisation supports thousands of businesses worldwide. Its services enable clients to focus on their core objectives while relying on robust and innovative network, voice, and data solutions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Lawyer (4–8 PQE) to join a high-performing in-house legal team. Based in London with a hybrid working model (one day per week in the office), this role will support a dynamic, international business on a wide range of employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with HR and senior stakeholders, providing strategic and commercially focused legal advice.

Key responsibilities:
  • Advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters across the UK and international regions
  • Support HR and business leaders on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and terminations
  • Provide guidance on employment aspects of corporate transactions, restructurings, and organisational change
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
  • Manage employment-related disputes and liaise with external counsel where necessary
  • Deliver training to internal stakeholders on employment law developments and best practices
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business
About you:
  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 4–8 years’ PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within a commercial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law; international experience is advantageous
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in the technology or telecommunications sector is beneficial
