Our client is a global technology business that offers professional services to some of the world’s most innovative companies. They operate across Europe, North America, and Asia, helping clients protect and commercialise their ideas worldwide. With revenues now over £750m and a market cap of £1.3bn, they continue to grow through acquisitions and organic expansion.
This new role sits within a proactive, growing global legal team and reports to the VP, Head of Legal. You’ll work closely with the IP Services team and have regular access to the C-suite.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts globally covering patent services, SaaS, software licences, DPAs, and procurement agreements.
- Advise on IP ownership, licensing, and rights in data, algorithms, and AI model outputs.
- Support commercial and procurement teams on structuring compliant AI collaborations.
- Help manage the Group’s global IP portfolio, liaising with product teams and external advisors on patents, trademarks, and copyright.
- Qualified in England & Wales, Australia, or New Zealand.
- 3+ years’ PQE from a top law firm or in-house team.
- Strong IP experience, ideally in tech, media, or professional services.
- Commercial and confident, with clear drafting and stakeholder management skills.
