A global software company is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its International Legal team on a part-time, embedded basis. This is a hands-on contracting role focused on day-to-day SaaS work rather than strategic transformation. The business is seeking an additional lawyer who can operate autonomously, make pragmatic risk-based decisions, and work as a true extension of the in-house team.
Profile
- Ideally 3–4 PQE (or equivalent commercial experience)
- Commercial contracts / technology / SaaS background
- Confident being customer-facing and leading negotiations
- Able to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Experience with DPAs and regulatory addenda helpful but not essential
Key Focus
- High-volume SaaS commercial contracts
- Negotiating on both company and customer paper
- Supporting reseller / channel agreements and occasional RFP input
- Data protection clauses and contract addenda
- Working within evolving playbooks and templates
- Coordinating with Sales, Finance and Privacy teams
- Maintaining clean contracting workflows and suggesting process improvements
