Part-time Paralegal (In-House)

We're working with a leading international construction and infrastructure business that is looking to appoint a Paralegal to join its established legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to build an in-house career within a complex, project-driven environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of legal, commercial, compliance and governance matters, working closely with lawyers and stakeholders across the business on major construction and infrastructure projects.
You'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the legal function while developing a strong understanding of how legal teams support large-scale projects and business operations within a multinational organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the legal team across a broad range of commercial, compliance, governance and operational matters.
- Assist with the management of legal documentation, records and internal reporting systems.
- Coordinate claims, disputes and insurance matters, liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers where required.
- Assist with compliance and due diligence processes for new projects, clients and business activities.
- Support governance activities, internal approvals and wider compliance initiatives.
- Maintain legal precedents, guidance materials and internal knowledge resources.
- Help ensure legal, compliance and insurance records remain accurate, organised and up to date.
- Build relationships with project, commercial, finance, compliance and operational teams across the business.
- Provide general support on a variety of matters arising from live projects and day-to-day business operations.
Key Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or within a legal operations environment.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different business functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
Desirable
- Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, real estate or another project-led industry.
- Exposure to claims, insurance, compliance or corporate governance matters.
- Previous in-house legal experience.
