We’re hiring on behalf of a Tier 1 main contractor with a strong global presence. They’re delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, and their legal team plays a key role in that success.
This is a great opportunity to join a trusted, high-performing team in a role that’s primarily focused on transactional (non-contentious) construction work. You’ll be working closely with colleagues across project delivery and commercial functions, supporting everything from contract negotiation through to execution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
- Advising on procurement strategy and risk
- Supporting project teams throughout the lifecycle
- Getting involved in disputes work where needed
- Helping to refine internal processes and contract templates
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified solicitor with solid construction law experience
- 2-7 years' PQE
- Confident working with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
- Some exposure to disputes work is a bonus
- Comfortable giving clear, practical advice to commercial stakeholders
- In-house experience is helpful but not essential
Why this role?
You’ll be involved in major, high-value projects with real visibility across the business. It’s a close-knit legal team that’s respected internally, and there’s room to grow with the role. If you’re looking for variety, autonomy and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.
