We’re working with a flagship UK infrastructure project seeking a Legally Qualified Counsel to take a leading role in training, governance and assurance across a highly regulated environment operating under the RAB model. This role is focused on translating regulation into practice. You’ll design and embed legal and regulatory processes, train stakeholders across the business, and provide assurance that the organisation meets its complex compliance and licence obligations.
Key areas of focus:
- Training & Upskilling: Develop and deliver training to legal, commercial, and project teams — ensuring obligations are understood and applied in day-to-day decision-making.
- Assurance & Governance: Implement and monitor frameworks that safeguard compliance with RAB-based licence and financing requirements.
- Process & Systems: Embed best-practice legal processes that drive accountability and efficiency across the organisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with regulators (Ofgem, government), external counsel, and senior internal stakeholders.
