An opportunity has arisen for a Property Solicitor to join a leading industrial and infrastructure business, supporting a diverse property portfolio across England and Wales. This role offers the chance to work on complex and varied real-estate transactions spanning commercial, mineral, and development matters.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in advising on and managing a broad range of land and property transactions , from acquisitions and disposals to leases, options, and development agreements. You’ll work closely with senior legal and property stakeholders, helping to secure mineral reserves, support planning activity, and manage the legal aspects of the organisation’s extensive property interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support on a variety of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and options.
- Advise on planning matters and related agreements (e.g. Section 106 and Section 278).
- Handle SDLT returns, Land Registry applications, and requisitions.
- Supervise and collaborate with paralegal and secretarial colleagues.
- Maintain and update property precedents and provide training to the business as required.
- Liaise with external lawyers, surveyors, and agents on a range of property matters.
- Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in non-contentious commercial property law.
- Experience with mineral or infrastructure-related property transactions is advantageous but not essential.
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Practical, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
