The role:
An experienced and commercially minded Legal Counsel is required to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This individual will act as a key business partner across Sales, Partnerships, and Finance, supporting multiple regions while working closely with senior leadership to ensure consistency, effective risk management, and scalable legal processes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, MSP/partner contracts, reseller agreements, NDAs, DPAs, MSAs, and SOWs
- Support late-stage commercial negotiations by joining sales calls, providing pragmatic legal guidance, and helping unblock deals
- Act as the first point of contact for legal support across sales and partnerships teams
- Take ownership of contract turnaround times and drive efficiency in deal execution
- Improve and standardise contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes
- Collaborate with Sales Ops/RevOps to optimise contracting workflows
- Ensure alignment between legal terms, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies
- Support global data protection and privacy matters
- Assist with compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Respond to security questionnaires and customer due diligence requests
- Escalate material risks appropriately while enabling commercial progress
- Oversee corporate governance matters including filings, recordkeeping, and compliance across jurisdictions
- Partner with Finance, Tax, and external advisors on entity management and regulatory requirements
- Provide ad hoc support on employment-related legal matters
About you:
- 3–5 years PQE (or equivalent experience)
- Strong background in negotiating SaaS and enterprise-level commercial contracts
- Solid understanding of data protection and privacy requirements
- Comfortable working closely with sales teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in-house within a technology or SaaS environment is advantageous
- Exposure to US and/or EU legal frameworks is beneficial
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach
