I’m working with a large UK-based business to hire an Employment Lawyer on a 6-12 month FTC. This is a standalone employment role, sitting close to senior stakeholders and offering real autonomy and breadth.
The role includes:
- Advisory support on day-to-day employment issues
- Managing and overseeing litigation
- Supporting periodic restructures
- Horizon scanning and employment risk management
- Working closely with senior leaders across the business
The ideal profile:
- 6–7 PQE (or equivalent experience)
- Strong employment law background
- Experience in retail or similarly fast-paced environments highly desirable
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a standalone role
- Confident advising senior stakeholders
Working pattern & flexibility:
- Small legal team based in London
- Team typically in the office 1 day per week (flexible up to 2)
- Part-time arrangements can be accommodated
Ideally someone available mid–late February to allow for a short handover, but flexible for the right person.
