The Role

Salary: £24,778 – £28,247 (FTE)
Location: Severn House, WR4 9NE, United Kingdom.
Hours: 22.5 hours
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 27 November 2026
Reporting to: International Trade Manager

We now have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our International Trade team as an International Trade Advisor. The successful candidate will provide an International Trade documentation service for businesses across the two counties and beyond. This includes issuing a wide range of Export Documents, facilitating Translation services, providing a suite of International Trade Training and aiming to provide additional support where requested.

Day to day you will:

  • Provide guidance to clients on how to complete export documents via the portal.
  • Ensure that export documentation is completed in line with BCC accreditation requirements.
  • Act in an advisory capacity to customers with regard to International Trade enquiries.
  • Secure bookings for International Trade Training courses.
  • Facilitate a comprehensive translator/interpreter service to businesses through trusted partners.
  • Build relationships and rapport with new and existing customers.
  • Engage and commit to ongoing training and ensure that knowledge on policies and customs procedures are kept up to date.
  • Complete administration tasks, including updating the CRM system regularly and keeping relevant documentation records in line with HMRC compliance.

What you will bring:

  • Preferably have experience within an export documentation role.
  • Must have experience in a role where attention to detail and accuracy was essential.
  • Preferably have experience within a compliance related role.
  • Strong teamwork ethics and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Willingness to learn and retain information.
  • Experience with customer service.
