The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Do you want to help save the wildlife of Herefordshire? You will take a leading role in the management of our nature reserves, to help us maintain them in good ecological condition and develop them as safe & inspiring places for public access, education and research.

You will lead the small team of Reserves Officers who manage the 58 Reserves across the County including our flagship sites at Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum and Bodenham Lake Nature Reserve to plan and deliver habitat management, particularly through volunteers, graziers and contractors in a way that demonstrates best practice and to maximise conservation benefits for wildlife.

You will oversee and manage the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) schemes and other grant income streams. As Nature Reserves Manager you will work closely with the Head of Nature Recovery and colleagues in the Nature Action and Commercial teams to support the aims and strategy of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and be an ambassador for the Trust.
