As part of the ongoing development of the Music Technology provision at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford, we are seeking to appoint a 0.5 FTE Lecturer / Course Tutor in Music Technology. To deliver a range of Music Technology theory and practical skills to our full-time student cohorts, up to and including Level 3. Subjects being sought include Studio Recording, Music Industry, Live Sound, Music Production, Marketing & Promotion and Composing, as part of a dynamic and pro‐active existing team.

Audio technologies utilised will include SSL Console, Behringer X32 & Mac/Logic/ProTools/FL Studio‐based studios. The ability to also deliver these subjects at HTQ / HNC‐D level would be advantageous. Teaching will take place at our Hereford campus within our specialist Music Technology department and recording studios.

As part of the role, you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational / administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, course tutorship, student welfare and counselling and to support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College's key mission and objectives.

You should hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Music Technology or Sound Engineering and have relevant work experience within the Music Production / Sound Engineering industry. Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply.
