We are looking for an inspiring Head of HR and Payroll to join us as a key member of our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who wants to help shape a modern, person-centred service and play a significant role in the life and success of our College.
As Head of HR and Payroll, you will lead a highâperforming committed team who deliver an exceptional service to enable every colleague to perform their best. You will bring clarity, confidence and positivity to all aspects of HR and Payroll, ensuring that all staff are supported to thrive, perform at their best and contribute to an outstanding learning environment.
You will ensure that HR policies and procedures reflect bestâpractice and comply with current legislation, oversee safer recruitment and maintain a strong focus on staff development, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
Working collaboratively with managers and colleagues across sites, you will bring clarity, reliability and confidence to all aspects of HR and Payroll, alongside a commitment to excellent internal communication, highâquality training and staff development, and proactive employee relations.

We are looking for a professional who is CIPDâqualified (Level 5 minimum) with experience in HR and payroll management with an excellent knowledge of employment legislation and a passion for delivering a thoughtful, supportive and highâquality service.
You will be someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, building relationships and creating the conditions where people can thrive. The post will be based at one of the College's campuses, with regular travel and onâsite presence required across all our colleges.
