As Assistant Principal, a member of the College Management Team, you will provide strategic leadership for Student Services and SEND provision, ensuring that all students are supported to succeed, thrive and progress. You will act as the College's Designated Safeguarding Lead, Prevent Lead and Mental Health Lead, ensuring full compliance with statutory duties and promoting a strong safeguarding culture across the organisation.
You will lead and develop high-performing teams responsible for student services, safeguarding, Prevent, SEND, mental health, admissions, careers guidance and pastoral support. Working closely with curriculum leaders and external partners, you will ensure inclusive practice, effective transitions, and high-quality support for students with additional needs.
This role offers a significant opportunity to influence College strategy, contribute to continuous improvement, and make a real difference to the lives of young people and adults across our communities. The role includes cross-college responsibilities for equality, diversity and inclusion, and the college's Careers Lead. The post will be based at one of the College's campuses, with regular travel and on-site presence required across all our colleges.
