As part of the ongoing development and growth of the Computing & IT provision at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford, we are seeking to appoint a 0.4 Higher Education Lecturer/Course Tutor in Computing.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess specialist Computing subjects and units from the BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Computing (Cyber Security) specifications to full‑time and part‑time higher education students.
- Assist in developing and delivering Level 5 HND units.
- Carry out organisational and administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, course tutorship, student welfare and counselling.
- Support and participate fully in ongoing faculty and college activities to achieve the college's key mission and objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum HNC / Level 4 qualification in Computing.
- Relevant work or industrial experience within the Computing & IT industry is desirable.
- Teaching experience is not required; training towards teaching is welcomed.
