The Student Support Team are expanding, we are looking for resilient, passionate and motivated people to join our team. The positions available will provide care, support and academic assistance for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

We are growing our bank of staff who are looking for occasional work to cover staff absence. This could be around existing employment, childcare responsibilities or be suited to individuals who are looking for the flexibility of occasional work. We also have substantive hours on offer.

We are seeking professional and personable individuals who are motivated and enthusiastic about working with young people with additional needs. The posts available will enhance our current SEND student support team, providing 1 to 1 support, small group support and study skills development for students with Education, Health and Care Plans.

You will be liaising with the Head of Student Support & SEND and tutors to ensure a safe and supportive study environment for all of our students. These exciting positions will work directly with young people in and out of the classroom environment to meet their individual needs.

Full on the job training will be offered for all of the positions available. These roles are key in supporting students to continuously improve their social and academic skills, to secure achievement, and prepare for independence into adulthood. Working with college staff and tutors will be a key aspect for all of the roles.

The successful applicants must possess the drive, energy and enthusiasm for such pivotal roles and want to gain experience of providing student support within the SEND arena.
