As part of the ongoing development and growth of the Foundation Studies provision at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford, we are seeking to appoint to Part Time Lecturer in Foundation Studies.

The role will involve teaching and assessing full time learners aged 16 to 19 enrolled on a range of Level 1 courses, with a core focus on the development of life skills and vocational skills. This post will also involve the embedding of personal and social development skills, communication skills and English and Maths.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working with and supporting disadvantaged young people in the education, social services, or voluntary sector. Teaching experience within a Secondary or Further Education environment would be desirable. Equally as important, the successful candidate will have an empathy with, and passion for, supporting and progressing disadvantaged young people and be willing to go that extra mile in meeting and responding to student needs as and when they arise.
