Do you have expertise in Health or Care and are passionate about providing opportunity for educating the next generation of professionals? We are seeking a lecturer who will deliver across our provision in Health and Social Care from level 2 to level 5. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced teacher wishing to further their career, or for those wishing to enter the teaching profession and become qualified with a high level of vocational experience.

This role will allow you to deliver exciting and interactive teaching, learning and assessment whilst ensuring we provide an outstanding experience for all learners. You will become part of a great existing team who are committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential. We will consider applications of any fraction up to full-time.

Health & Social Care is one of the largest departments in this highly successful Further Education College. Provision within the department supports learners from aged 16 to adult on qualifications at Levels 2 and above. We have a range of effective and innovative employer links across the region who support our students by offering industry placements, workplace visits and guest speaking.

The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above, or be willing to work towards this qualification. The college can support unqualified applicants to pursue a relevant and appropriate teaching qualification. You’ll have relevant experience of working within Health and Social Care and a strong awareness of current developments in the field, and be able to combine this with an ability to inspire others. We are keen to receive applications from those with experience in a clinical/nursing background, or from applicants with experience of working in social care.
